KSL is involved in many heritage projects, including:

• New parts for heritage machines
• Reverse engineering of worn components
• Re-design of obsolete components
• Bespoke components for historic building restoration

We have been involved with much of the engineering of the new-build LNWR “George the Fifth” locomotive. Our rail and structural expertise has been employed in making a design dating from 1910 fit for use on the modern railway. Working with the Advanced Steam Traction Trust, we are proud to be taking a leading role in the design, production of components and assembly of “Revolution”.
