KSL is involved in many heritage projects, including:

We have been involved with much of the engineering of the new-build LNWR “George the Fifth” locomotive. Our rail and structural expertise has been employed in making a design dating from 1910 fit for use on the modern railway. Working with the Advanced Steam Traction Trust, we are proud to be taking a leading role in the design, production of components and assembly of “Revolution”. This is a brand new 10.25” Gauge steam locomotive embodying new and innovative technology. “Revolution” shows the way that steam traction for the heritage sector can evolve to meet 21st Century needs.
